Musty mini-split? We clean it out — mold, dust, and all.

Your ductless system recirculates the same air, over and over. Over time the filter, coil, and blower fan can collect dust, mold, and bacteria — that's the musty scent you're smelling. We clean it thoroughly so the air coming out is actually clean.

Why mini-splits get musty

Ductless heads run constantly and pull air straight across a cold, damp coil — a perfect environment for mold and bacteria to build up if it's never cleaned.

💨

Musty, sour odors

That smell when the unit kicks on is usually mold and bacteria growing on the coil and blower fan, not the refrigerant.

🦠

Mold & bacteria growth

Condensation on the coil plus trapped dust creates ideal conditions for mold — and that mold gets blown into the room you're sitting in.

🌬️

Weaker airflow

A clogged filter and dust-coated coil restrict airflow, making the unit work harder and cool or heat less effectively.

💧

Water leaks

A blocked condensate drain backs up and drips or overflows — one of the most common reasons mini-splits leak water indoors.

What's included

Every visit covers the same four steps, done right — no shortcuts, no upsells.

Dust filter cleaning

Filters are removed and thoroughly washed to clear trapped dust, pet hair, and debris.

Coil cleaning

The evaporator coil is deep-cleaned to remove mold, mildew, and buildup at the source of most odors.

Blower fan cleaning

The blower wheel is cleaned blade by blade — a step most homeowners can't easily do themselves, and where a lot of grime hides.

Condensate drain check

We confirm the condensate drain is clear and draining properly to prevent backups and water leaks. If we find it's not draining properly we will attempt to remove the blockage. Sometimes this may require an HVAC technician to complete.

A wall-mounted mini-split indoor head

A "head" is the wall-mounted indoor unit of your ductless mini-split system — the part pictured here. Many homes have several, one per room or zone. Every service above is performed on each individual head we clean, since dust, mold, and buildup accumulate separately in every unit.

What we don't do: we only provide cleaning services. We don't perform HVAC tune-ups, refrigerant work, or repairs — only a thorough routine cleaning. If we think your system needs mechanical service, we'll let you know so you can call an HVAC technician.

Simple, flat-rate pricing

No surprise fees. One price per visit, based on how many heads you have cleaned.

First head

$140

Filter, coil, blower fan & condensate drain check

Each additional head

+$80

Same full cleaning, same visit

Example: a home with 3 heads is $140 + $80 + $80 = $300 total.
